College Ministry

Tyler is truly a college town and Westwood is excited about ministering to college students whether you are from East Texas or a just here to attend college.
Great opportunities exist for college students here at Westwood. Our Student Pastor, Gary Hawley is passionate about equipping students for Kingdom work, and he loves empowering college students through mission work experience and youth ministry leadership.

Our college student department is led by Craig and Rhonda Carter. The Carter's have many years of experience in ministry and are passionate about teaching and equipping college students. They meet together weekly for times of worship, biblical instruction, and fun fellowship. Every Christian needs support.
