At Westwood the children's ministry teaches children to know God and to make Him known. We have many opportunities for the kids to be more involved. The Children's church is a special service that reaches out to kids from pre school to 6th grade. Our nursery has many activities for kids from newborn to 5 years old. With great weekly activities, family fun nights, and wonderful seasonal special events, your kids will thrive here at Westwood. (Click here for more info)

Our Choir meets Wednesday at 7:00 pm for rehearsal. (Click here for more information)
Our next Soccer season will begin the Fall 2011. George Copeland, the director of this ministry, will announce the first day of league play in August. Please make plans to attend. If you have any question please contact the church office - 903.592.5124.
Gospel Body Workout for Ladies
This ministry meets each Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m. This is an exercise program for ladies of all ages. The group will meet upstairs in the Children's Church room. Jesika Salisbury is the leader. Wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes. Child care will be provided.
Singles Fellowship (Bible Study)
The singles meet every Thursday, January 13, 7:00-8:30 p.m. This will be led by Caleb Hawley and will meet at Bekah & Caleb's home. All singles are invited.
Ladies' Bible Study
The ladies meet on alternating Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at Jared & Stacey Plyler's home with Stacey Plyler leading. The dates are announce on or church calendar.
Men's Bible Study
The men meet on alternating Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m. at Gary & Brenda Hawley's home with Brother Charles Moore leading. The dates are announced on our church calendar.
Life Groups
The Life Groups meet on the last Sunday evening of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held in members' homes. For a list of locations contact the church office. Brother Charles will teach a lesson outline at 5:45 p.m. on the Wednesday prior for those who will be teaching and hosting the following Sunday.
